Available in AISI 316 stainless steel or polished chrome plated bronze with a wide variety of end fittings to suit every rigging application, including forks, toggles, eyes, swage terminals and swageless terminals for fitting directly to the end of the wire.
For convenience, the thread size is laser engraved onto each body together with a marking signifying the left-hand threaded end. Where a swage end terminal is featured, the swage terminal is also marked with the wire size and wire depth.
The sleek Blue Wave open chrome bronze bodies are favoured by riggers in the marine industry as the combination of the chrome bronze body and stainless steel end fittings prevents the threads from seizing.
For safety reasons it is recommended the working load should not exceed 20% or 1/5 of the breaking load.
