Flip flop blocks are designed to pivot around a central fixing point, this keeps the rope close to the deck, mast or boom whilst still allowing the block to articulate to the correct lead angle, ensuring friction stays as low as possible whilst still guiding the rope to where it needs to go.
Relocatable Sheave – Features two locations to install the dynamic sheave. Simply undo and remove the clevis pin holding the sheave in place and relocate it in either fixing hole on the main body. These two options allow the block to be installed and used in a wider range of applications.
Dynamic Bearings – The sheave features Allen's dynamic ball bearing technology.
Removable – A clevis pin holds the main flip flop body to the backing plate.
Allenite Cam Cleat – Also featured is the AL-0677 small allenite cam cleat.
Ideal for lower loading halyards, pole launchers and jib sheets.
Higher loading applications should use the AL-2123-77
